He is an Earth Scientist with a PhD in Geodynamics at the Roma TRE University, Italy. He joined CNR as permanent Researcher in 2009 and he is involved in research projects focused on atmospheric pollution in urban and remote regions. Since 2014 he moved to the Division of Florence of the Institute of Atmospheric Pollution Research.
His main research interest is the dynamics of the air-soil interface. His activities are devoted to different type of surfaces (soil, rock, snow...) and his skills include state-of-the-art chemical techniques, remote sensing, GIS and data mining tools.
