After studying Computer Science in Florence, he started his work as a technical assistant with CNR IIA (Atmospheric Pollution Research of the National Research Council) joining the team ESSI-Lab.

For more than four years with the team, he works in research and development in the broad field of interoperability of geospatial data. In particular, he participated in several international projects under FP7 (Seventh Framework Programme), and also carrying out teaching assignments and participation in international meetings such as EGU (European Geosciences Union) and GEO-X Plenary.

Key role in the project: develop the smart geo-search.
