He has a degree in Agricultural Sciences and a two-years specialisation in Tropical and Sub-tropical Agriculture Achieved at the University of Florence in 1978.
From 1979 to 1992 he worked within the Rwandese administration (Ministry of Agriculture) with various managing responsibilities related to agricultural extension, planning, monitoring and evaluation services. From 1992 to 1994 he worked within the UNDP as Programme Officer dealing with projects administration and financial management. For many years, he also has been involved as free lance consultant in rural development projects funded by FAO, World Bank and IFAD (identification studies, supervision missions, mid- or final evaluations, monitoring and evaluation systems) in sub-saharian African countries.
He joined CNR in 2011 and become an ESSI-Lab member in 2014.
He is currently working as administrative assistant.
